mmmmm...... Sand........
In japan, onigiri means rice ball, drink means drink, but sandwiches
are called sand, which looks weird when written in english.

Japanese News
some big news is about.
Lately, we have got the H1N1 influenza from those taco munching,
sombrero wearing mexicans.
If you are watching the news in Canada, the news anchor will talk
about the daily news, then maybe mention the influenza.
If you are in Japan, every, single, second of the news is deticated to
the freaking influenza saying for example "the district of Tokyo has
Japans first confirmed case of the influenza!
WEREALLGOINGTODIEWEREALLGOINGTODIEWEREALLGOINGTODIE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Then it cuts to sports. "This team beat this team 4 - 3, and back to
the news"
WEREALLGOINGTODIE!
This is all they are freaking talking about day and night on the
morning news, afternoon news, and evening news.
Even when I am watching my favourite anime, on the top of the screen,
a banner pops up saying, Breaking News! And you get interested for a
second, until it says "second confirmed case of influenza"
JUST SHUT UP ALLREADY!!!!
jeez... Stupid nacho munching pigs
This is pretty much what I ranted to my mom about the other day, and
now you got my two cents/yen.
Oh yeah, Japanese news also has a bad habbit of re-using footage too
much, but I'll get to that later.

To Reduce Spillage...
Apparently someones wife thought of this idea to put these target
stickers inside these urinals and so far it has reduced spillage by
quite a bit.
I'll post more about toilets later.

Japan Fact #2
They probably figure those Americans can't tell up from down.
Looking through photos
got off of a website.
It makes me laugh every time, so it should for you.

English Movies Japanese Names
because it is about a rat that can cook.
The kid who resides in the bed next to me has an expansive DVD
collection with him. The latest movie he has been watching is
Ratatouille, but I have a problem with the name. It is called "Remy no
Oishii Restorann" such means Remy's yummy resturant.
WHAT KIND OF A NAME IS THAT?!?!?!??!
The Japanese can advance so much in technology but somehow cannot
think of a decent movie title.
I needed to get that off my chest.

Legal Jaywalking
crosswalks here. They basically work by making it so you can't cross
with the traffic, and when the traffic stops both ways, you can cross
in any direction.
This made me think.
Legallity takes all the fun out of jaywalking.

Let's Start Er' Up
Wooooooot!
Sorry for my absence of 5 months, I blame it all on my iPod... Stupid
iPod...
Anyway, for some news.
For those of you who don't know, or didn't realize I have not been
attending school since October, I am in Japan eating sushi and
watching baseball.
(That is all Japanese people do for those of you who don't know)
5 months ago, I underwent bone lenghthening surgery to make me taller.
I have lenghthened the bones of my upper legs by 10cm. bringing my
total height to 7ft 2in.... Ok not really. More along the lines of
140cm. (Photos to come later)
Anyway, I'm done lenghthening and working on walking. I feel like a
baby again...
Hope to be back in august!
Check for more updates every week!
